Property Management Assistant

Justin Groves' path to real estate reads more like a script than a résumé. A Bachelor of Contemporary Arts majoring in Theatre, plus an Associate Degree in Dance, took him from Tasmania and Deakin University all the way to London in 2013. Spending years performing in theatre shows and indie films, 2018 saw Justin return to Melbourne, swapping the stage to run his own restaurant alongside his wife.

After the highs of hospitality life, a change of pace was in order and Adelaide became the sea change Justin needed. Lifestyle balance, beaches, noticeably lighter traffic; it all clicked, and it’s Adelaide he now happily calls home.

What ties performing arts and hospitality together? People. Justin's built a career on reading rooms, building relationships, improvising, and adapting when situations shift without warning—skills that translate into the world of real estate, where ownership changes, tenants come and go, but service never wavers.

Ambitious, resilient, and never taking himself too seriously, Justin attributes this approach to a musical great’s most iconic quote: "To succeed in life, you need three things: a wishbone, a backbone, and a funny bone."

It's the collaborative side of real estate that Justin finds most rewarding. The buzz of team work and the trust built along the way with every property, tenant, and landlord. For Justin, there's real satisfaction in helping someone land on the right fit, wherever they're at in their journey. Mature, driven and unfazed under pressure, Justin is reliable to the core, creative in his approach, and always ready to go above and beyond.
